Erika Kirk (born November 20, 1988) is an American businesswoman, nonprofit leader, and podcaster. She grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and attended Arizona State University, where she studied political science and international relations. She later earned a Juris Master from Liberty University and, as of 2025, is pursuing a doctorate in biblical studies.
Kirk first rose to public attention when she won Miss Arizona USA in 2012 and competed in the Miss USA pageant. Over the years, she built a career around faith and entrepreneurship: she founded the nonprofit Everyday Heroes Like You, launched the faith-based clothing line Proclaim Streetwear, and created the devotional initiative BIBLEin365. She also hosts a podcast called Midweek Rise Up, focusing on biblical leadership and Christian values.
In 2021, Erika married conservative activist Charlie Kirk. They had two young children. Wikipedia On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was fatally shot during a Turning Point USA event. A week later, Erika was unanimously appointed CEO and Chair of the Board of Turning Point USA, fulfilling what the organization says was her late husband’s wish. In her public remarks, she vowed to carry on his work, calling his legacy a mission she intends to expand.
