My kitchen design career began as a teenager working in my father's cabinetry and design shop, Zobel Kitchens, in Mt. Kisco NY. I worked along side my father and my brother, learning about cabinetry, carpentry and working with homeowners. When my father retired, I joined Majestic Kitchens in Mamaroneck NY, becoming their senior designer.
Fast forward to 2016 when my future wife and I decided to take the plunge to open our own kitchen design firm. We both enjoyed the Saratoga region and wanted to be closer to the Adirondacks . After many discouraging searches, I walked into 11 Broad Street in Glens Falls (formerly Finders Keepers next to Samantha's Café) and knew I found the perfect space for Zobel & Co. Kitchens.
For over 40 years, I have been fortunate to work with industry leaders and vendors to become a trusted designer for their products. I find that working in the custom market allows more creativity as well as seemingly endless possibilities of what can be created. I thoroughly enjoy the process of working with homeowners to bring their vision of a new kitchen or cabinetry project come to life. I thrive on design challenges and find the biggest reward is a happy customer.
Little known fact: I had a Harley Davidson for years, but now I'd rather be riding my bicycle with my wife.
