Bernard Gleeson

I’ve spent more than 25 years in the employee benefits world at TruePlan, which means I’ve survived enough insurance meetings, renewal negotiations, and spreadsheet marathons to earn some kind of endurance medal.

As Director of Employee Benefit Services, I help businesses navigate everything from health plans and retirement programs to telehealth, dental, vision, and all the fun acronyms nobody understands at first glance.

Before joining TruePlan, I worked with firms like Gallagher and Aon, so I’ve seen just about every benefits challenge imaginable, and probably a few that should’ve come with warning labels. I enjoy helping companies save money, simplify complicated decisions, and avoid panic attacks during renewal season.

When I’m not untangling employee benefits puzzles, I’ve served on health carrier advisory boards, spent 13 years on my local school board, and led the Upstate NY chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters. Apparently, I really enjoy meetings.
