Christopher Smith serves as the Executive Chef of Brookmere in Saratoga Springs, NY, where he oversees all culinary operations for the hotel and its upscale dining restaurant, the Regent Restaurant and Bar. With over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Smith is spearheading a modern interpretation of the classic French bistro for the property – blending local, fresh ingredients to create a welcoming neighborhood gathering spot for both locals and hotel guests.
A Seattle native, Chef Smith brings extensive expertise to Brookmere. Most recently, he served as Executive Chef at Alloro Vineyard in Sherwood, OR, where he introduced a new culinary concept for the winery. Prior to that, he spent four years overseeing culinary operations at the Allison Inn & Spa in Newberg, OR. Chef Smith also played a key role at Willows Lodge in Woodinville, WA, where he was named one of Zagat’s “30 Under 30” and received a Rising Star nomination from the International Chefs Congress.
Chef Smith’s culinary journey began in his hometown of Kirkland, WA, where he studied Culinary Arts at the Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Today, he continues to combine his passion for fresh, local ingredients with his innovative approach to classic cuisine at Brookmere.
