Jack Lord

Hi, I'm Jack, and while some people run from spreadsheets, I run toward them. As an accounting intern at Miller Mechanical (Glens Falls, NY), I spend my days digging through data, building reports, and helping turn numbers into smarter business decisions. It's a role that lets me learn, problem-solve, and contribute to something bigger than myself.

I'm currently studying Accounting with an emphasis in Public Accounting and a minor in Analytics at Grand Canyon University, with plans to graduate in April 2029. I chose accounting not because I love crunching numbers (although we're becoming friends), but because accounting is the backbone of every successful business.

After graduation, I hope to work in private business accounting, helping companies innovate, improve, and stay organized. When I'm not working or studying, you'll probably find me exploring local hiking trails, fishing, playing volleyball, or meeting new people at community events. Numbers may pay the bills, but connecting with people is what keeps life interesting.
