As a copywriter, I spend most of my day writing for and about other people and their businesses- yet writing about myself is a challenge! So here goes:

I am Karen Lombardo, Founder and Owner of The Virtual Copywriter, located in Niskayuna, New York. Writing is something that I have always loved to do, with or without that cup of coffee. Meeting and engaging with people personally and professionally make it seem like fun, not work. How lucky am I?

My expertise lies in helping start-ups and small businesses with content creation, websites, blogging, and email communications. I also take pride in being there for those special moments—whether it’s guiding a couple in crafting their wedding vows, assisting a graduate with their resume for a dream job, or sensitively writing an obituary for a loved one.

I write unique and authentic content and strive to capture each client’s genuine and authentic voice. It takes time, human interaction time, to accomplish this without embellishing or misrepresenting them because they are unsure what to say about themselves. That is what I am here to do.
