Karin Hall, DNS, FNP-C, ACNP

With over 20 years of diverse clinical experience, I have devoted my career to enhancing patient care across various specializations, including emergency medicine, intensive care, hospice and palliative care, urgent care, and holistic health. The majority of my practice has taken place in inpatient settings, where I serve as a part-time hospitalist nurse practitioner in a rural hospital setting. Currently, I lead Power-Of-One Health, a Bespoke and Functional Medicine practice.

Beyond my clinical practice, I have been engaged in clinical education, serving as adjunct faculty at Utica University, as well as presenting and lecturing to fellow and future Nurse Practitioners and colleagues with diverse professional foci. I have worked to promote leadership and the development of clinical guidelines, underscoring my commitment to evidence-based practice and professional advocacy.

Originally from Upstate New York, my journey in healthcare has been significantly influenced by personal health challenges, fostering a deep appreciation for community-based care and holistic health approaches. I have had the opportunity to participate in focus groups and meetings spanning regional and global health care crises with advance collaboration across specialties relative to resiliency and holistic care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, like many, the limitations of our current conventional systems in medicine became glaringly apparent, leading me to explore bespoke care and functional medicine—an evidence-driven, patient-centered approach that focuses on addressing root causes rather than merely alleviating symptoms.

Recognizing a gap in accessible functional medicine services within my community, I founded Power-of-One Health to provide innovative, personalized healthcare solutions. My team and I are dedicated to expanding access to individualized therapies that empower patients to actively engage in their health and longevity by fostering resilience practices that support adaptability during times of change and challenge.

Through a blend of clinical expertise, academic rigor, intentional learning, and a passion for transformative care, I aim to bridge the divide between conventional and functional medicine, offering both patients and healthcare professionals  a more comprehensive approach to well-being and resiliency.
