I spent 17 years in HR project management and process improvement at GE, and I now bring those same tools and discipline to small businesses and nonprofits that deserve them just as much. My work centers on mapping and improving how work gets done, documenting employee procedures, cleaning up back-office systems, facilitating planning conversations that lead to real decisions, and untangling financial processes, including QuickBooks implementation and support when clients need it.
As examples, I've led structured process improvement workshops for large corporations, facilitated multi-year strategic planning retreats for churches, guided website redesigns from vision to launch, and stepped in to stabilize the books and payroll for small businesses and franchise operations during difficult transitions, bringing calm, structure, and a clear path forward every time.
Outside of my consulting work, I lead retreats and coach twelve Capital District Episcopal parishes, to support their congregants in deepening their spiritual practices. It's a completely different world from process maps and QuickBooks, but honestly the same instinct: helping people find structure that brings peace instead of pressure.
I believe improvement should bring relief, not more stress. And that when a business finally runs the way it should, the owner gets to remember why they started it in the first place.
