I’m LeeAnne Ruff, founder of Brightside Leadership Group. I’m a keynote speaker, author of My Personal Best, podcaster (Open For Higher), leadership expert, and co-founder of ADK Woman. I’m known for turning real-life adversity into practical tools that build confident teams and courageous cultures. Personal highlight: I had the joy of meeting Oprah. Professional highlight: I once shared a conference stage with Mel Robbins and have led programs across 17 countries.

Biggest, baddest, most awesome thing I’ve accomplished so far
Guided enterprise teams spanning 17 countries and an 80,000-person sales force, then translated that scale into accessible playbooks for small and mid-size organizations. I also built ADK Woman to elevate professional women across the Adirondack region through connection, learning, and visibility.

A little-known fact that might surprise you
I was abandoned as a newborn and adopted. My life mantra is simple: It does not matter how you entered the world. It matters how you leave it. That lens fuels everything I teach about dignity, second chances, and showing up for each other.
