Liza Ochsendorf

As the Director of Workforce Development for Warren County, I oversee the WIOA funded services and programs in the Warren County Career Center. Our Center team is amazing and they help local job seekers and businesses with a variety of free services. When I'm not busy with the center, I love problem solving and collaborating with other local leaders, organizations, and go-getters. More specifically, I like to address barriers to employment such as transportation, child care, skill deficits, etc. I also enjoy working with local school leaders and educators to prepare the future workforce for the jobs of tomorrow. We even have virtual reality job training now!

It is also imperative that we not only recruit skilled workers but that we help good businesses become great employers so that they can retain their employees. Lastly, I would say that my passion and purpose is mostly centered in:
