Melissa Snyder

I’ve always been a people person. In fifth grade, my teacher told my parents I had a knack for connecting with others. Turns out, she was right! Today, I put that natural enthusiasm to work as Annual Fund and Events Manager at Wildwood Programs in Latham, NY.

I enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories, and finding ways to bring good people together around a good cause. At Wildwood, I help build community partnerships, inspire generosity, raise awareness, and organize fundraising events that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the Capital Region.

My background in fundraising, communication, and event planning lets me turn connections into meaningful action. Before nonprofit fundraising, I was known for spreading couponing and savings tips to just about anyone who would listen. These days, I’m still sharing something valuable, just with a different mission!

I believe great things happen when communities come together, and I’m always looking for new ways to make that happen.
