About
Michael Murray
I love helping local businesses share their stories so they get seen and remembered.
Hi! I’m Michael Murray, and I’m the founder, developer, and manager of the Adirondack Community Resource Network (or ACRN for short - sounds like ay•korn).
ACRN is all about promoting local businesses and organizations by building connections from Plattsburgh, NY, to south of Albany, NY, and every town in between.
Through our popular Interview video series, I get to spotlight entrepreneurs and organizations, sharing their stories on the ACRN website and across social media so they can reach beyond their immediate networks.
My passion is helping communities thrive by blending technology and storytelling to create opportunities for growth, recognition, and connection.
(my intro-video will be posting soon)
Interview with ACRN founder, Michael Murray
Hey everyone, it’s Michael Murray!
How do 50 cups of coffee and a love for local business turn into a community movement? In this 15-minute chat with Amanda Blanton from the ARCC, I share how ACRN was born, why it’s not just another LinkedIn, and how video interviews are turning “awkward hellos” into real local connections.
It’s funny, honest, and full of those “oh-wow” moments about community and people.
Give it a listen—you might even hear your next great idea brewing!
