Oscar Bográn

I’m Oscar Bográn—Community Relations Director at The King’s School in Lake Luzerne, NY, which is a fancy way of saying I get to be the professional bridge-builder between an amazing school and the wider community (and occasionally the guy who explains what we actually do… with enthusiasm).

Born in Honduras, raised in NYC, and shaped by hip-hop, graffiti, faith, and fine art, I somehow found my way to a place where creativity, character, and calling collide. At The King’s School, my work is all about connection—connecting families to our mission, students to opportunity, and the community to a school grounded in faith, service, and purpose.

I come equipped with an MFA, a love for public art, and a deep belief that education can change lives. Whether I’m collaborating with local leaders, advocating for students, or using the arts to spark conversation, my goal is simple: build real relationships that help young people grow into thoughtful, compassionate leaders… while having a little fun along the way.
