Samantha Clemmey

Hi, I'm Samantha, and I serve as Office Manager, Human Resources, and Executive Assistant to the CEO at CEFO Advisors, a financial advisory and accounting firm serving businesses and nonprofits. In my role, I support the people and infrastructure that keep the firm running smoothly, working closely with our leadership team to ensure alignment, consistency, and follow-through across the organization.  

My focus is on HR strategy and compliance, internal operations, and executive support. I'm deeply involved in the day-to-day coordination that allows leadership and advisory teams to stay focused on client work, while also helping strengthen the systems, processes, and culture that support long-term growth. This kind of work often happens behind the scenes, but it plays an important role in shaping employee experience, maintaining efficiency, and supporting the quality of service delivered to clients.

One of my proudest accomplishments has been supporting the ongoing work of CEFO Advisors by helping bring structure and consistency to internal processes, supporting leadership decision-making, and contributing to a workplace that values clarity, accountability, and people. In 2025, CEFO Advisors was honored as a Best Place to Work by the Albany Business Review, a recognition that reflects the collective effort of our team and leadership to build a positive, supportive workplace. I'm an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Capital Region Human Resources Association, and I've proudly earned by SHRM-CP certification, which reflects my commitment to strong, practical, and people-focused practices.

At its core, CEFO Advisors provides fractional CFO, Controller, and accounting services that help organizations gain financial clarity and make informed decisions.
