Hi, I’m Trevor McCarthy—yes, the same Trevor who used to fly around racetracks at 40 miles per hour on a thousand-pound animal. After years as a professional jockey, I decided it was time to trade in the saddle for something a little more… stationary.

Now I chase a different kind of thrill: rescuing tired, worn-out homes and giving them the comeback story they deserve. I find the quirky ones—the sagging porches, the “vintage” wiring, the “character-filled” floorboards—and I bring them back to life. My mission? Modernize them, make them safe, and basically turn them into the kind of homes you don’t need a hard hat to walk through.

Every renovation is a little adventure, a little detective work, and sometimes a little comedy. But at the end of the day, I love handing a new homeowner the keys to a place that’s solid, safe, beautiful, and fairly priced.

Turns out, I’m still in the business of helping people feel confident on solid footing—I’ve just swapped horses for houses.
