April Washburn

I’m April Washburn, a principal owner and Treasurer at Hilltop Construction, where I’ve been helping keep the business running smoothly since 2004. While others may see construction as all dirt and job sites, I see the moving parts behind the scenes, keeping everything organized, supported, and on track.

My days range from handling phone calls and emails to HR, accounting, and just about anything else that keeps the office and team operating efficiently.

Beyond Hilltop, I’m deeply involved in community service. I currently serve on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks and Food For Thought, and I’ve previously supported the CROP Walk, St. Joseph’s House of Grace, and various church initiatives focused on helping families in need.

I’ve also spent time as a wedding and event coordinator, because apparently I don’t believe in “free time” unless it involves planning something for someone else.

At home, I share life with my husband Dan, my high school sweetheart, and our two kids, Mikayla and Cameron. We love traveling, snowmobiling, and spending time together whenever we can find a break in the calendar I usually manage.
