Dan Washburn

I’m Daniel W. Washburn, Vice President of Commercial Operations and a principal owner at Hilltop Construction, a company built on over 40 years of relationships, craftsmanship, and community trust.

My construction journey started in 1995, swinging tools on job sites and quickly realizing I had a real passion for building things that last. That path led me to Hilltop Construction in 1998. After expanding my experience in HVAC and commercial work in Central Ohio, I returned home and became a principal owner in 2006, helping guide Hilltop’s growth into a strong commercial builder across the Capital Region.

Today, I oversee commercial operations for a wide range of projects, retail, fuel stations, offices, restaurants, and industrial builds, having managed well over 120 projects, including extensive work for Stewarts Shops. I take pride in delivering projects that are practical, efficient, and built on strong communication from start to finish.

Outside of work, I’m married to my high school sweetheart April, and we’re proud parents of Mikayla and Cameron. I also stay active in local government and community service, and somehow still find time for our small Black Angus farm, where things are a little less scheduled than construction sites.
