Tom Albrecht

I’m Thomas G. Albrecht, Jr., Vice President of Residential Operations at Hilltop Construction. I started out at Hudson Falls High School and later studied Architecture at SUNY Adirondack, but I quickly realized I learned better with a tool in my hand than sitting in a classroom. That brought me home to Hilltop in 1999, where I started at the ground level and worked my way up.

For four years, I trained under our experienced foremen before becoming a foreman myself, leading crews in the field. After 14 years of hands-on experience, I transitioned into project management, learning how to bid work, manage job costs, and keep projects running smoothly. That “start-from-the-ground-up” path has shaped everything I do today.

In 2012, I joined forces with Dan Washburn to help lead day-to-day operations as the company grew significantly, doubling in size and expanding across residential and commercial markets. Today, I lead our residential division, including remodels and new home construction.

Outside of work, I’ve been married to my wife Rebecca since 2004, and we’re proud parents of Emma, Noah, and Lyla. When I’m not on a job site, you’ll usually find me traveling with my family, especially to Disney, or cheering on the Boston Bruins.
