Get Ready to Shine: Your Video Introduction Guide!
Welcome to the fun side of video introductions! Ready to show off your personality and charm? Follow these simple steps to prepare and submit your video introduction, to help your community get to know you better. Whether you’re a natural in front of the camera or feeling a bit camera-shy, we’ve got you covered with tips to make the process smooth and enjoyable.
1.) Scheduling:
Just CONTACT US and let us know you want to do an intro video. We’ll coordinate with you by phone and/or email to set up a date and time. Some videos are done in-person, and some are online via Zoom.
2.) Q&A:
We’ll send you some suggested “interview-style” questions that we’ll ask you during your interview. The questions are light and simple, and promote a relaxed “conversation” style interview. You can review the questions ahead of time, and remove or add questions to help bring out the best of you and your and what you do.
3.) Set Up:
On the day of the interview, we’ll take a casual approach and review with you the process. It’s really easy and relaxing – we’ll ask you the questions as if we’re together in a local coffee shop just getting chatting.
4.) Posting:
Once the interview is complete, we’ll post it to the ACRN website (typically with 5-10 business days). We typically include your video intro in our newsletter, and post it to ACRN’s social media (and we encourage you to do the same with yours).
And that’s about it!
Easy-peasy.
